3 May. Noumea in a storm. Leaving again and not at all sad top go. What a dump.

Monday 3 May, we arrive into Noumea in gale force winds and rain.
Due to an electrical fault in one of the ship's engines, we have to hold outside the harbor for 2 hours, so arrive in the dark.

There's the tug to see us in, and there's the container dock where we tie up.
It's still raining with strong winds.

We go ashore to check out Noumea and it's a dump.
No life, human shit on the streets, gangs roaming around, so we head straight back to the ship.

We arrive at the Cruise Ship Terminal, Centre Ville, Nouméa, New Caledonia

Well this was the coolest thing about visiting Noumea harbor... watching the cranes at work.

The gangway is up, lines pulled in, and away we go.
Laura is looking concerned about something.
Goodbye to Noumea and onwards to tropical islands.
